Max is a funny, friendly, energetic boy who loves walks, treats and most of all playing with other dogs. His smart, sweet face always draws a smile -- and so does the sight of his long ears flapping in the breeze as he runs toward you. Max is also reported to do well with children. This gem in the rough will steal your heart if you spend enough time with him.

If Max looks familiar, yes he used to be named Captain. He was adopted and returned the next morning for barking at the horses next door.
